The dinner recognition for our high school graduates is an annual event for our youth who finished their high school. This program is aimed to listen and hear their feedback about their foster care journey, life's goals and also provide them assurance of support in reaching those goals. Most often, these youths need encouragement and continued support to overcome the challenges of life.

This years honorees are Amanda and Kyleen. Congratulations to both and our wish for success in the future. In addition to a nice dinner, each received a laptop to celebrate their achievement.

There are plenty of good things about social media — but also many risks and things kids and teens should avoid. They don't always make good choices when they post something to a site, and this can lead to problems. So it's important to talk with your kids about how to use social media wisely.
